Down in Wandandian, all the locals know about their hometown favourites, Nomad Kitchen & BBQ and they can’t stop raving about their fabulous food. So this 17th and 18th of November #KVBBQ are happy to announce the Nomads will attend the festival again to share their incredible BBQ experience.
BBQ Pork ribs with all the trimmings.
Black Angus Brisket n’ Slaw roll
Wes, Kim and their team are stoked to be returning to Kangaroo Valley and would love to fill your tummies with some of Wandy’s finest charred and smokey goodness.
Pit Mistress, Kimmi Taylor of Nomad kitchen & BBQ says they are a vibrant and fun team that offer a ‘truly alternative catering experience’. Their inspired comfort food is deliciously prepared in a mobile ‘smokehouse’ and so is provided as fresh as is humanly possible.
Nomad are a passionate about food, flavours and sourcing local produce. We love catering for all types of functions and events on the South Coast, Illawarra and the Shoalhaven. We are always out and about hitting every event we can.
This year they have changed up their menu and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Expect to see Black Angus brisket pies and spice rubbed beef rolls alongside sticky pork ribs and southern style charred wings. Kimmi says all of their sauces and rubs are gluten free and yes they even provide some tasty vegetarian dishes amidst the array of carnivorous pleasure. ‘And oh yeah, don’t worry, the kids will be thought of as well’.
With famously generous portions and flavours to die for; you will fall in love with the Nomads and their comfort food Q’. Look out for their smokehouse trailer at the Festival and treat yourself with some south coast style, Nomad Kitchen hospitality. You’ll be raving about them too!

The best BBQ we have ever had, the meats are delicious and perfectly cooked and the homemade sauces and slaw are the perfect accompaniments. I can’t recommend Kim enough.
